I was watching an episode of The Benny Hill Show the other day when it dawned on me,This is probably the most influential show I watched while growing up. As a small child, I wondered at the sites of the Hill's Angles and laughed at the wacky fast motion hi-jinx. It was sex and comedy all in one neat half hour package. Sensory overload for any youngster. And thank god. And Thank You Mr Hill!

I'll meet you at the Boar's Nest

As we all know (If you don't.... you should) "The Dukes of Hazard" Movie is on it's way.I had very fond memories of the show. I used to watch it at my Grandma's house. She always screamed how she hated that little man every time Boss Hog appeared on the TV. :) But recently, I saw a few episodes on DVD. I was horrified! I couldn't believe how bad it was. All the memories of my childhood, wiped away in an instant. I was thinking there's no hope on getting them back. Then I saw this photo. I'm not a big J Simpson fan but for some reason I feel like they achieved to distilled the spirit of Hazard County's favorite cousin. Maybe the movie will be able to save a bit of my childhood.
Here's to hoping.
